CEA's Mark of Excellence Awards recognizes the finest achievements in home automation and networking. Out of five categories for dealers, judged by independent experts within the industry, two of Ambiance Systems projects were chosen as finalists: “Home of the Year” and “Innovation of the Year.”

Lutron awarded 12 winners at the 2005 Excellence Awards at a ceremony held September 8th at the Indiana State Museum during the CEDIA Expo. Ambiance Systems received the Best 4 Series Project Award (4 Series is Lutron’s most economical total home lighting control system). The Excellence Awards honor a select group of Lutron’s residential systems providers for outstanding HomeWorks® projects completed between June 1, 2004 and June 30, 2005. Clifton Park, NY – Ambiance Systems announced today that CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design Installation Association) has awarded them with two Lifestyle Awards at its annual EXPO held in Indianapolis September 8-10. These awards recognize excellence in the custom electronics design and installation industry. The country’s top manufacturers, custom installers, as well as members of the media attended the event. With a record-breaking number of entries, an increase of 70% over last year, the Designers' Choice Awards were extremely competitive. In all, CEDIA gave out 21 Designer’s Choice Awards – Ambiance Systems received two of them.
